running from March 11-14, 2009, submissions are currently being
accepted exclusively through SonicBids at www. sonicbids.com/cmw2009. You’ll
then have the opportunity to be spotlighted in the Artist Feature on
the CMW homepage. Bands will be spotlighted on a weekly basis. Check
out the bands/artists that have already been selected at http://www.cmw.net. All entrants will receive a
free year's subscription to Canadian Musician magazine.

and Film in Motion’s (MFM) sixth annual Northern Ontario Music and Film
Awards and Conference (NOMFAC) is quickly approaching.  Nominees have until
October 14^th at 5 p.m. to enter their submissions for this
year’s program..........

Hey there everybody,

This last week has been a blast with the Watchmen shows in Ottawa and
as well at the Leafs game on Monday. There are some photos and words
about the shows on my website and as well there are some cool videos
(Boneyard Tree) showing up on FaceBook and such.

Search me out on Facebook if you are not in the loop yet and this
will allow you to easily keep up to date with information.

This weekend will be a memorable one for me and hopefully for those
coming out to shows. My trio, "The Variety Show Players", are hitting
the Dakota on Thursday night (10:00 pm sharp), and on Friday &
Saturday the Watchmen take the stage at the Horseshoe for what will be
two amazing shows. This club holds so many memories for all of us. I
actually saw the Watchmen here at a private party for a Magazine
launch about a year before I hooked up with them. Seems like a
lifetime past...

Things are busy right now but all is well here in my camp.

Toronto, Ontario (August 14, 2008) - Preceding the launch of Canadian Radio Star – the 16th annual National Songwriting Competition – Canadian Music Week is presenting a series of free local New Songwriters’ Workshops targeted to aspiring artists and songwriters. These day-long programs will take place in participating cities across Canada from September 12 to October 5, 2008.
